April 29 Game Analysis
Game 1

The first game was the Deacons versus the Gideons. This game was close to the end. Both teams had some great catches and strategic plays. It was like watching a chess match. At one point both teams seem to try to open up the score by attempting a long style game, however the defenses were too good to allow that style of game play. It came down to that the Gideons couldn't stop the Deacons short accurate pass style game. Deacons prevailed 9 - 6.
Game 2

The second game was the Saints versus the Kings. The Kings were short staffed this time around while the Saints had almost all their personnel. This seemed to be one of the factors in the game. The Saints scored early and didn't let up until the half which the Saints were at comfortable lead of six points. The second half the Kings used predominantly the long style game and the Saints had a tough time stopping it. The Kings were making a comeback, however, they started getting tired and the time ran out. The Saints outlasted the Kings and won 12 - 8.
April 15 Game Analysis
Game 1

The first game was the Minor Prophets versus the Deacons. It was a very controlled game by both sides. The Deacons used a very effective short game and the Minor Prophets used a combination of short and long game. The first half ended 5-6 with the Minor Phrophets ahead. Unfortunately Hap (team captain) was injured at the end of the half. The second half the Minor Prophets had some very quick points and developed a deep lead. However, the Deacons never gave up and scored at the end of regulation time. The Minor Prophets won with the score 14 to 7.
Game 2

The second game was the Saints first game. I know the Saints were very excited to actually get to play. The Saints marched in and scored three quick scores setting up a fast tempo game. The Giddeons kept up with the saints for the first half. Second half the Saints, similar to the Minor Prophets game, developed a large lead that the Giddeons were not able to recover from. Saints won 15 - 6.
April 1 Game Analysis
Game 1

The first game was the Kings versus the Minor Prophets. This was an anticipated game... Would the highly favored Kings win yet another game quickly by their deadly speed and accurate long throw and catch game or would the Minor Prophets prevail with a prolong calculated short throw game? The Minor Prophets seemed to be ready for such a match and drastically changed their style of game play. The big difference was that the Minor Prophets used a no fly zone defense which proved to be the winning formula. The Minor Prophets upset the Kings 15 to 8.
Game 2
The second game was supposed to be a match between the Saints and the Deacons, however this game has been post-poned to a later date.
March 18: The First Games of the Season
Game 1

The first game was the Minor Prophets versus the Gideons. It was an exciting game to watch. Both teams showed great sportsmanship and chess like plays. It was a very close game with the Gideons just pulling off the win in the last few minutes of regulation time with the final score of 10 - 7.
Game 2

The second game was the Kings versus the Deacons. This game had an element of "Shock and Awe". The Kings came off the buzzer with lightning speed and with a deadly accurate long game catching the Deacons off-guard. The Deacons however, were able to still make a game of it never giving up. The Kings won impressively with 15 points to the Deacons 7.
