The MBC Ultimate Frisbee Season is here again! One of the great springtime traditions of Memorial Baptist Church is Ultimate. It is a time of fellowship and recreation as adults of all ages and children (5th grade and older) come together to play this wonderful sport.

The Memorial Ultimate league is a recreation league (meaning it's for fun), but all skill level players are welcome! We especially encourage those who have never played before to come out and give it a try. Download the rules and guidelines to learn more about the game.
This season we have four teams. Games take place after church on various Sundays in the spring. The games are played with four people from one team against four people from another team (4-on-4). The games are on Memorial's back field.
If you are not playing please come out to the games and cheer on and participate in the fun.

June 2 Game Analysis
These were the last regular season games. The outcome of these games decided who would qualify for the championship game. The Saints had their destiny in their own hands... all they had to do was win to get in. The Judges however needed for the Preachers to win and then win their own game.
Game 1
We couldn't have asked for a tighter final game then what we saw for the Saints and Preachers. Both teams fought valiantly. The Preachers scored first and never was behind in points. Both teams looked impressive with both effecient short and grandious long games. The Preachers never lead more than two points infact the game was tied several times. With a minute left in the game the Saints almost tied the game but dropped it in the endzone. Preachers held on to win 11-10. But the Saints were not out of championship game yet... game 2 would decided that. If the Minor Prophets won then Saints would be in the championship game.
Game 2
With the Preachers winning the Judges had a chance of making it to the championship game but they had to win to do so. The Judges were playing against the only team to defeat the undefeated Preachers. The Minor Prophets scored quick two points and put the Judges on their heals... The heat and the fact that the Minor Prophets did not have any substitutes was a big reason they were not able to sustain a lead. The Judges were eventually able to catch up and then take a lead. The game ended with Judges 11 over the Minor Prophets 6.
