Praising with a Joyful Sound
Music and song moves us in ways we often can not explain. God has given us the gift of music and we at Memorial believe in sharing this gift in worship and activities. Our church is blessed with a host of talented individuals with wonderful voices and special musical abilities. We welcome participation from all who want to serve the church and glorify the Lord through music worship leadership.
What do you play? Do you love singing? Come and find out how your talent can help us praise the Lord.
Please contact our Associate Pastor of Music, Richard Buerkle, about any of the music ministries listed below either by email rbuerkle or by phone at 703.538.7000.

LifeLine rehearse Sunday evenings at 7:15pm and Thursdays at 8:00pm.
LifeLine has a debut Self-titled album "LifeLine" that you can listen to online and that you can pick up at the church. -
Chime ChoirChime Choir is a joyful and heavenly experience! The Chime Choir regularly performs during the 11:00am worship service and at special occasions such as the Christmas Eve candlelight service.
Hand chimes sound like hand bells but are less fragile and are easier to play. We welcome beginner players. Even those who can't read music can chime because we use color-coded music which is easy to follow.
Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm. Keep those hands busy and join our Chime Choir! Please contact Jacqui Yeatman for more information.

MBC InstrumentalistsMBC Instrumentalists are individuals that help lead our worship. We are proud to have as a part of our music ministry those who play French Horn, Clarinet, Violin, Flute, Drums, Guitar, Bass and Trumpet. These individuals play for special events, accompany hymns, play offertories, and accompany our other ensembles.
If you are interested in playing your instrument for a service, please let Richard Buerkle know, and we’ll get you on the calendar.
