Our pastor, Dr. Glen Bohannon (also known as Dr. Bo), began his minsitry at Memorial in September of 2010. Dr. Bo is an Intentional Interim Pastor that we are blessed to have with us as we seek God's leadership and guidance in our nation-wide search for our next pastor.
Dr. Bo's pastoral ministry spans some 50 years having served churches in Missouri, North Carolina, and Virginia. He graduated with his Doctor of Ministry with honors from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is a published writer. Glen's strengths in ministry have been displayed in his pastoral ministries, and service as a hospital chaplain.
Dr. Bohannon is married to Jo Ann, and they have three children; Lisa, Glen Jr., and John, and three grandchildren.

I am amazed but not surprised at how God is at work among the Memorial Church Family. In Exodus 3:2, Moses noticed that "the bush was burning" with the presence of God. As I mingled with you on the 8th of August, I observed that same light of our living Lord shining in you and through you. Your past leadership has left a most positive impress on your hearts that is evident in your faith, generosity and dedication. Truly, you have been blessed. Everyone enriched our lives. The caring and quality Church Staff, the insightful deacon body, the gifted musicians, the sound booth technicians, the ushers, and the membership at large enabled Jo and me to feel relaxed and at home. Thank you! As Jo and I join with you in ministry, we pledge to work diligently along side of you to discern and to do our best to fulfill God's will for His Church through the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let me urge all of us as we begin this journey together to dwell close to Christ for in His presence there is strength and healing that will provide for us on the long road of obedience that lies ahead.
